What is the Argyle Adventure Boot Camp ?

A four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Trainer, Norma Zitterkopf. Each day, camp will be one hour in length starting at 5:30 am and 8:30 am.

What if I'm not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of safely doing. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Where do we meet for camp?

Cross Timbers Community Church next to Liberty Christian School at 1301 S US Highway 377, Argyle, TX 76226.

There is a shared entrance for Integrity Park, Cross Timbers Community Church and Liberty Christian School. We park in the middle of the first parking lot. On inclement weather days 5:30 am Camp meets at Liberty Christian School and use the indoor basketball gyms (park at circular parking area by horse statue). We have access to rest rooms during both camp times. 8:30 am Camp is outdoor only.

How often will we meet?

Camp is offered Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Camp meets for 4 weeks, takes a one week break and then resumes again. You can see the entire schedule for the remainder of the year here.

When does the next Adventure Boot Camp Start?

New camps begin each month. See our calendar to register for the next camp. We are an ongoing camp which means you can start on any day. Once we receive your registration we will email you a welcome packet with all of the information you will need to get started, this will include your pre-evaluation information.

What do I need to bring?

An exercise mat, small hand weights (5, 8, 10 or 12 lbs), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at Wal-Mart, Target or Sports Authority or other sports equipment store. Dress appropriately for the season. Layers are always appropriate so you can adjust as you get warmer or cool off.

What can I achieve from camp?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You will gain valuable insight regarding how to make exercise, healthful eating and well being a permanent and enjoyable part of your life.

You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you will meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started! This is the absolute best way to start your day. What types of exercises are included in the program?

Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, sport yoga, fitness kick boxing, pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, tabata and more!

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $199 for 3 days per week. That covers 12 hours of instruction! That’s just $16.56 per hour.
