What is Argyle Adventure Boot Camp?

Argyle Adveture Boot camp is a four-week outdoor (indoors during Winter months) program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling (upon request)  and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Norma Zitterkopf,  NESTA Certified Fitness and Adventure Boot Camp Certified Trainer.  Each day, camp will be one hour in length starting at 5:30 am.

What if I’m not very physically fit?

NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Where do we meet for camp?

Liberty Christian School (Visitor) Parking lot at 1301 S US Highway 377, Argyle, TX 76226 (5:30 am)

There is a shared entrance for Integrity Park, Cross Timbers Community Church and Liberty Christian School. We park at VISITOR PARKING (at end by 4-way stop signs. On inclement weather days Camp meets at Liberty Christian School and use the indoor basketball court (park at circular parking area by statue). 

How often will we meet?

Participants will meet Monday, Wednesday, Friday for ONE hour during the four-weeks session. We  take a one week break at end of four week session and then resumes again. You can see the entire schedule for the remainder of the year here.

When does the next Adventure Boot Camp Start?

When should I sign up?

We are currently accepting sign ups for the next Boot Camp session.  If you would like to sign up after a session has already begun, give Norma a call at (214) 729-0001 for a pro-rated cost.

Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $199 for 3 days per week (occasional specials!). That covers 12 hours of instruction! That’s just $16.56 per hour group session.   If you commit for a longer time you could pay as low as $160 per month!  Where else can you get premiere cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal trainers charge $40 – $150 an hour for personal training services – this is your opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by an award winning certified fitness coaching team with decades of in transforming bodies, for just a fraction of the cost.

What do I need to bring to camp?

  • 1 set of 5-8lb hand weights
  • An exercise mat (you can purchase this at Target or any sporting goods store)
  • Water bottle
  • Towel
  • Layers are ALWAYS appropriate, so you can adjust during warmer and cooler months and gloves.

What can I achieve from camp? Why should I come?

Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you’ll meet great people who share in your same passion for acquiring a healthier body and mind.  You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started! What types of exercises are included in the program?

We offer a well-rounded fitness program working on strength, balance, flexibility and endurance.  These are vital components to everyday life and you will see improvements in all of these areas.  Each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom.  You can expect mat work, some cardio, weight training, obstacle courses, and core work.  It’s always an adventure, and you’ll always have fun!

Will I be sore sometimes?

Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days.  After that point, it is slight to moderate.  It’s part of the process that lets you improve!

Do you have a nutrition plan that you recommend?

Yes.  Available upon request.

Is there a refund policy?

We can only give you a credit towards another Boot Camp session if you are unable to continue with the one you began because of circumstances beyond your control.  This credit may be used toward towards semi-private group training (contact Norma for availability).  There is no cash refund.

How soon will I see results?

Performance improvement can take place in as little as three days.  You will feel less bloated and more energetic in the first week.  “Visual Improvement” can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level and complimenting your workouts with healthful eating.  It’s becoming common to see a participant go down 1-2 dress sizes within the first four-week camp.  Remember everyone is different!

Argyle Adveture Boot Camp is NOT a militaristic style format where you will be humiliated or an overly  competitive environment where you will be pushed beyond your abilities.  This is a friendly, fun environment where everyone works to the best of their ability. What kind of people go to camp?
